Petrol Industries washing instructions
Jeans |
To prevent your jeans from fading and losing their shape, don't wash them too often. Always wash jeans inside-out at 30 °C. Allow your jeans to air-dry instead of putting them in the tumble dryer, as this could cause them to lose their elasticity and shape. |
T-Shirts |
To help your T-shirts retain their colour and shape, wash them at 30 °C and air-dry on a rack or a clothes hanger. If your T-shirt is made from stretch fabric, don't use fabric softener, as it could damage the elastic fibres. |
Jumpers |
Wash your jumpers at 30 °C and lay them flat to dry. The weight of the jumper could cause it to lose its shape if left to hang-dry. |
Polo shirts |
To help your polo shirts retain their colour and shape, wash them at 30 °C and air-dry on a rack or a clothes hanger. If your shirt is made from stretch fabric, don't use fabric softener, as it could damage the elastic fibres. |
Knitwear |
Knitted jumpers should ideally be washed by hand and dried flat. The weight of the jumper could cause it to lose its shape if left to hang-dry. If you're in a hurry, you can wash knitwear in the washing machine on 30 °C. Make sure to turn off the spin cycle and to use a special wool cycle. |
Jackets |
The best way to wash jackets depends on the material. PU, nylon, and wool should ideally be dry-cleaned. If your jacket is made from a different material, you can probably wash it at 30 °C. Make sure to turn off the spin cycle and use a delicate cycle. |
